The Old Lady originally wanted Oscar

Juventus are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea attacking-midfielder Willian, after giving up on trying to sign Oscar.

The Old Lady had been strongly linked with making a move for Oscar, with a £19.8million bid reportedly launched, however, fresh reports this morning suggest that Willian is now the preferred option.

Juve Plot Chelsea Raid

Massimo Allegri had already targeted Oscar as a potential long-term replacement for Paul Pogba, who is set to leave the club within the next year, but it looks like he is now interested in Willian, who he believes could be more viable.

Juve have already had an £18m bid rejected for Oscar, with Jose Mourinho wanting around £25m, but it looks like the Serie A champions are only prepared to go as high as £19.8m.

According to reports in England, Allegri is now focusing his attentions on Willian, who has only been at Stamford Bridge for two years.

Willian at Chelsea

The Brazilian play-maker joined The Blues back in 2013 after agreeing to leave Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala. Since arriving in West London, Willian has made 61 Premier League appearances for Chelsea, scoring six goals.

Chelsea paid £32m for Willian, and would like to see that money back if they do choose to sell the Brazilian.

Juve could use the money they potentially make from the Pogba sale.
