Liverpool defender Kolo Toure has told his team-mates to keep calm for the final third of the season and make sure that they finish in the top-four.
The Reds are still considered part of the Premier League title race, behind Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea, but Brendan Rodgers and co. insist that finishing fourth place is their main goal for this season.
Despite their impressive form and position in the table, Liverpool’s defence has come under a lot of scrutiny recently, and after keeping just two clean-sheets in 11-games, Toure has urged his team-mates to keep calm and focus on the job at hand.
He said: “We just need now to keep calm and do what we have been doing, if we continue that we will get the same results.
“There are going to be some tough games; Southampton [this Saturday] is a tough place to go but I think we can score goals and defend well as a team and we are working hard.”
In the race for Champions League, Liverpool are six points ahead of fifth-placed Tottenham Hotspur, and 11-points ahead of sixth-placed Manchester United.
