Arsenal’s interest in Real Madrid star Alvaro Morata has been given a boost with reports claiming the Forward is wanting a move to the Emirates instead of Stamford Bridge or Old Trafford.

According to reports Arsenal is still keen to sign the Spain international amid claims the Forward doesn’t want to be stuck on the Real Madrid bench next season.

Spanish newspaper El Confidencial report Morata has told close friends that he doesn’t want to ‘die of disgust’ on the sidelines.

The 23-year-old reportedly has asked his father and representative Alfonso to push forth a summer transfer if he isn’t guaranteed regular game time.

Morata returned to Madrid after the LaLiga giants exercised their buy back clause that they had strategically inserted in the player’s contract when they sold him to Juventus two years back.

Reports also say that Manchester United, Chelsea Football Club and Arsenal have all shown keen interest in Morata but none of them have come close to meeting Real Madrid’s whopping £59m asking price, But are said to be still interested in the LaLiga star.

More reports are now claiming Morata favours a move over to the Emirates and Gunners boss Arsene Wenger admitted only last week he is in the market for a striker to cover for France international Olivier Giroud and the ongoing injured Danny Welbeck.

The Spaniard had a decent season making 47 appearances for Juve last term and netting 12 goals and provided 12 assists.
