Lallana dreams of Champions League football

Southampton star, Adam Lallana has admitted his desire to one day, play in the Champions League. 

Lallana has displayed some top quality performances for Southampton and England this season, which have caught the eye from the likes of Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester United.

It is understood that Liverpool, who will be competiting in Europe next season, has already tabled a bid for the player. 

Liverpool boss, Brendan Rodgers has said that Lallana would be a useful recruit for the team, but no advancements have been made in this deal as of yet.  

On his hopes for the future, Lallana said in the Daily Mirror: “I’m ambitious. I have aspirations to play in the Champions League.

“Ever since I’ve played international football, you realise there’s that other level to play at. It would be great.

“I went to a couple of the Champions League games last year and the feeling you get, the buzz, it’s an unbelievable atmosphere. It’s definitely a goal of mine to play in the Champions League.”
