Leeds United have been linked with a surprise move to sign Kiko Casilla.

The Real Madrid custodian is yet to make an appearance for the Galacticos this season.

According to Sky Sports News, as cited by Sportsmole.uk, Real Madrid goalkeeper Kiko Casilla has been tipped to make a surprise switch to the Championship club Leeds United. The Spaniard has found chances hard to come by at his current club with players like Thibaut Courtois and Keylor Navas notching up the places for the first and second choice goalkeepers and is reportedly looking to force his way out of the club.

Moreover, this summer, Real Madrid have also signed young custodian Andriy Lunin and he has been tipped to be the future goalkeeper for the reigning European champions. This has put Casilla’s future at the club in further jeopardy and a move to a new club looks very likely for the player. Leeds United, who are currently at the top of the table in the English Championship, could be a preferred destination for the 32 year old as there is a probability for the Whites to compete in the Premier League next season if they can hold onto their place at the top of the ladder in the second tier.
