Liverpool and Chelsea are both monitering outstanding Sevilla midfielder Ivan Rakitic.
The Croatian, who is also on the radar of Barcelona, Juventus and Napoli, could still yet stay in Spain, however a bid from a Premier League club could persuade him away.
His representative, and brother, Dejan, revealed to Italian website cittaceleste.it: “He is much admired in Italy and I have already talked to a couple of clubs interested in him.
“I can not confirm who they are, but we are also considering the possibility of renewing the contract with Sevilla.
“We’re talking to the president, but at the moment there is nothing concrete.”
