Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has been spotted with the agent of Napoli star Gonzalo Higuain, prompting speculation for a move to Anfield for the player.
The Reds look in need of some major investment up front, with Christian Benteke failing to make an impact last season and with Daniel Sturridge continuing to be plagued by injury problems.
Higuain however can be said to be the opposite, as he has enjoyed the season of his life- scoring a record breaking 36 goals in Serie A for Napoli. The Argentine’s fine form has seen him linked with Premier League clubs of the likes of Arsenal and Manchester United, but Liverpool may now be leading the chase for his signature.
Photos have now surfaced of the German manager with Higuain’s agent and brother- while watching Gonzalo Higuain play in the Copa America.
It was then said that the German supposedly then left the match when Higuain was subbed off, which strengthens previous reports from news outlet beIN Sports that a deal for the 28-year-old was close.
