Liverpool are locked in a four-way fight to land Argentina international Marcos Rojo after PSG joined the race for his signature. Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is looking to sign a top defender to help solve the club’s defensive problems and Rojo is one of his main defensive targets.

The 24-year old is currently under contract at current club Sporting Lisbon until 2016 and he can play in both centre-back and left-back poistions. The player has previously been trailed by Arsenal and is now wanted by a host of European clubs.

Barcelona and Monaco are both keen on making a move for Rojo, while PSG may decide to make a bid for him if they decide to cash in on Marquinhos this summer. Liverpool complete the list of the four teams all tracking him.

All four teams will face a battle against one another to try and sign the defender who has really impressed since his move to the Portugese capital back in 2012.
