Reds want Moussa Dembele
Liverpool are thought to be lining up a £20million bid for Celtic’s Moussa Dembele.
The Reds are currently without star man Philippe Coutinho after he injured his ankle in their Premier League game vs Sunderland last weekend.
He is only due to return in January, which is when Sadio Mane is set to jet off home to play in the African Cup of Nations.
Dembele would provide an ideal backup and replacement for both of those players, with his pace and finishing exactly the sort that Jurgen Klopp likes to have in his team.
Glasgow Live are suggesting that the Premier League side will launch a £20million bid in the New Year window.
It’s understood £10million will be paid up front to the Scottish giants, with Jurgen Klopp eyeing a deal of £60,000-a-week for Dembele.
Klopp has sent scouts to watch the youngster on at least five occasions and the feedback has only strengthened the interest of the ex-Borussia Dortmund boss.
