Striker unsettled at Anfield
Liverpool star Daniel Sturridge has emerged as a shock target for Italian side AC Milan.
The striker is struggling to get game time at the moment in Jurgen Klopp’s side, with the German manager preferring Roberto Firmino in the forward role, while there is also competition from Divock Origi for a place.
Despite this, he has retained his place in the England squad, but is still believed to be weighing up his options for a move in January.
And it’s thought now that AC Milan are ready to save him from a nightmare season so far.
Vincenzo Montella’s men have impressed in the new campaign after the club was taken over by a mega-rich Chinese consortium last summer.
A long-awaited return to the Champions League seems to be on the cards, and Sturridge is apparently seen as the perfect man to replace misfiring Carlos Bacca in a deal worth £25.5million.
