Ragnar Sigurdsson could be on his way to England

Liverpool and Tottenham are both interested in Euro 2016 Iceland hero, Ragnar Sigurdsson.

Sigurdsson has revealed he has spoken to his agent about a potential summer transfer, he currently plays his football in Russia, for Krasnodar.

Sigurdsson has shone for Iceland at Euro 2016 and scored in the shock 2-1 win over England to reach the quarter-finals of the competition.

As a result he is now reportedly the target of Liverpool and Spurs.

The Mirror claim Krasnodar will not stand in the way of him leaving, and have reportedly put a £4million price-tag on his head.

And speaking before last night’s 5-2 defeat to France, the 30-year-old talked up a potential move and revealed he had held discussions with his agent.

“I think a lot of this team will get a transfer,” Sigurdsson said.

“I have spoken with my agent and we will know more after the Euros.

“It’s important to stay focused and play your best so I will only think about my future after the Euros.”

Sigurdsson has made 56 league appearances for Krasnodar and also had lengthy spells with Scandinavian sides Copenhagen and Goteburg.
