Liverpool are on the verge of missing out on PSG forward Ezequiel Lavezzi, after Italian Serie A side Juventus joined the que, according to The Daily Express.
Argentine international has been tipped to leave the French side, having fallen out of favour at PSG in recent months.
Lavezzi signed for £21 million from Italian Serie A side Napoli in the summer of 2012, with Liverpool set to make a bid in the coming days, in the region of around £18 million.
The Reds are in desperate need of a forward, following the departure of Luis Suarez to Barcelona for £75 million.
However, despite Liverpool’s continued interest, Serie A side Juventus are keen to take the player back to Italy, and have made a bid of £22 million.
