The midfielder could be set to leave Anfield to make the move to Italy

Jordan Rossiter could be set to make a move to Italian side Udinese in summer.

According to the Daily Star, the Italian side are quite keen to bring the midfielder to Serie A and are considering a potential move for the youngster.

Rossiter is considered a good prospect by the Anfield club but injuries have limited his first-team chances. Jurgen Klopp though is believed to be hoping to keep the 19-year old at the club but with his contract set to expire at the end of the season, he may not have much say in whether he does stay or go.

Pre-contract agreement can be reached

Because his current deal is almost up, the starlet is able to sign a pre-contract agreement with any non-English club. Step in Udinese who are hoping to wrap up a deal for the midfielder as soon as they can.

If they aren’t able to reach a pre-contract agreement, then the Italian side could wait until summer and still land him for absolutely nothing. They would have to pay compensation for him but it would be a very small amount.

The player himself has spoken about how he hopes to come back better and stronger after his injuries to try and get more first-team action – the only question is whether that will now be at Liverpool or at Udinese.
