Manchester United could have a new manager by the time Arsenal visit Old Trafford

Manchester United could have Jose Mourinho appointed as their new manager by the time they face Arsenal in two weeks time, according to reports.

Pressure has mounted on Louis van Gaal, and after they lost to Sunderland on Saturday, more and more questions have been asked about his future at the club.

It’s well reported that Van Gaal will be sacked at the end of the season in order to be replaced by Mourinho, but according to reports, after the latest run of results and performances, he may be sacked sooner.

Attentions turn to the FA Cup this weekend, but after that, United have to host title-chasers Arsenal at Old Trafford, and it’s claimed Mourinho could be in charge by then.

That would be a good omen for United as Arsene Wenger hasn’t beaten the Portuguese in a Premier League match.

United have three games before they face Arsenal, one in the FA Cup and a two-legged tie in the Europa League, but with Van Gaal moving properties, people are tipping him to be on his way out soon.

Van Gaal Changes Property

It’s been revealed that Van Gaal has moved to another apartment, sparking speculation that he could be ready to move on.

A source told The Sun: “Fans will speculate that this means the end is nigh for Louis — and that might well be the case.

“But it could also mean that he wants to actually buy somewhere here and wants to be able to move in as quickly as possible.”

A property expert added: “It’s unusual for estate agents and owners to allow rolling monthly contracts, they normally like you signed up for six or 12 months.

“But I guess the goalposts change when the manager of Manchester United comes knocking on your door.”
