Suarez fine form this season and at the World Cup has seen him attract interest from La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Their interest in the Uruguayan striker has now peaked after his stunning display against England on Thursday evening.
But according to reports in Spain, the Reds striker has now come out and said that he wants to join Barca this summer.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo claim that Suarez has told his agent Pere Guardiola, who is the brother of ex-Barca boss Pep Guardiola, that he wants to swap Anfield for the Nou Camp this summer.
They also claim that Suarez is ‘in love’ with Barcelona and that he is keen to move their to be closer to his parents.
Catalan newspaper Sport claim that Barca president Josep Maria Bartomeu has made Suarez his number one transfer target for the summer and that the club have been in contact with the striker’s agent.
Sport also claim that Bartomeu is willing to pay Liverpool a staggering £68m and offer them Chilean midfielder Alexis Sanchez to secure Suarez’s services.
Reds boss Brendan Rodgers will be reluctant to let his star striker leave the club this summer.
The northern-Irishman hopes to improve on the club’s second place finish last season and knows that he needs his talisman to do so.
