The Barclays player of the month for december has been named and it is Luis Suarez. Suarez seens to deserve the title as the striker has scored 10 goals in December alone. 4 of these goals were scored against Norwich which resulted in a 5-1 win for Liverpool. Suarez started and ended the month on a low noted losing to Hull City, Manchester City & Chelsea however in the other four games during the month Suarez was on a red hot form.
He then scored two goals each against West Ham, Tottenham & Cardiff City. These goals puts Liverpool at the top of the league at christmas day however they slipped from the top by New years eve.
