Arsenal and Liverpool are set to go head-to-head with Juventus for Shakhtar Donetsk forward Luiz Adriano.
The Brazilian international has impressed for his Ukranian employers this season, netting nine Champions’ League goals in the process, form which has attracted interest from both England and Italy.
According to Italian publication, Tuttosport, Serie A title-holders Juve are leading the way to land the 27-year-old.
However both Arsenal and Liverpool have now entered the race to lure Adriano away from Eastern Europe, with the player likely to be available at a cut-price transfer. due to his current contract expiring in 2016.
