Arsenal striker, Lukas Podolski, wants to hold talks with Arsene Wenger regarding his future at the club.
The German international has dropped hints that he could be ready to leave the Emirates in January due to lack of first-team football, but after being linked with a shock move to rivals-Tottenham Hotspur, the 29-year-old rubbished the reports saying ‘hell would freeze over before that move happened’.
However, Podolski is still keen to talk to Wenger about his future and has admitted that despite feeling at home in London, he could be ready to leave the club.
Podolski said: “I have a contract with Arsenal until 2016. I feel at home in London and get on with the fans very well.
“Nevertheless, I will try to speak with the coach and the club to see what is best for all parties.
“I want to play football and am not the type to sit on the bench until my contract expires.”
