James Milner looks to be stalling on signing a new contract with Manchester City amid fears that he doesn’t want to commit his best and remaining years at a club that he may not be a regular starter for, especially when that club is able to buy anybody they want.
Milner’s contract expires at the end of the season and it is reported that he has been in talks with the club over an extension but that he is also willing to move elsewhere.
Manuel Pellegrini seems desperate for him to remain at the club as well as the fans and his team-mates.
Reports today suggest that Liverpool would be keen on offering Milner a switch to Merseyside in a bid to find a powerhouse in their midfield in light of Gerrard’s imminent departure, also Arsenal seem interested in the winger to help bolster their midfield options.
It is thought that James Milner will make a decision on his future during the next couple of weeks.
