Jadon Sancho has been exiled from first-team training.

The England international has been forced to train alone after his verbal spat with manager Erik ten Hag caused a major uproar in the world of social media.

The club has formally asked the winger to apologise to the Dutch manager but the idea was quickly rejected by the former Borussia Dortmund winger.

Sancho could lose his spot in the European Championship if he doesn’t resolve his situation in the next few weeks.

Since his big-money move in 2021, Sancho has struggled to hit the ground running at Old Trafford and could leave the club in January either on loan or a permanent deal.

The incident took place after Man United’s 3-1 defeat to Arsenal back in September when Erik ten Hag said Sancho didn’t meet the standards required in training.

Ten Hag said: “Jadon, on his performances in training we did not select him. You have to reach a level every day at Manchester United and we can make choices in the front line. So for this game he was not selected.”
