Manchester United have opened talks with Moncaco for their midfielder Joao Moutinho.
United have already today agreed a deal with Monaco for Falcao, and now they’re also interested in his team mate Moutinho, as they look to add to their midfield. Moutinho’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has reported offered the central midfielder’s availability to United.
With Louis van Gaal set to see his midfield reduced before the transfer window shuts tonight, he may be keen to sign the pass master, who is pushing to leave Monaco.
He came close to joining Tottenham two years ago and has made no secret of his interest in playing in the Premier League.
Moutinho would likely cost about £15million to sign.
