Youngster to sign new deal
Manchester United have come to a new contract agreement with midfielder Jesse Lingard.
The 24 year old has more than tripled his previous wages with the new deal, going from £30,000 per week to £95,000 per week.
The wages are even more impressive in comparison to what Arsenal have offered Olivier Giroud, who, when he signs his new Gunners contract, will be earning £5k per week less. It comes amid the French striker enjoying a productive, albeit reduced role this season in which he has scored vital goals for the club.
Lingard has scored 3 goals and made 3 assists in his 18 appearances so far this season, and has also managed to break into the England squad under new manager Gareth Southgate.
