Youngster to sign new deal
Manchester United have come to a new contract agreement with midfielder Jesse Lingard.
The 24 year old has more than tripled his previous wages with the new deal, going from ÂŁ30,000 per week to ÂŁ95,000 per week.
The wages are even more impressive in comparison to what Arsenal have offered Olivier Giroud, who, when he signs his new Gunners contract, will be earning ÂŁ5k per week less. It comes amid the French striker enjoying a productive, albeit reduced role this season in which he has scored vital goals for the club.
Lingard has scored 3 goals and made 3 assists in his 18 appearances so far this season, and has also managed to break into the England squad under new manager Gareth Southgate.
