Manchester United are confident of signing Southampton defender, Nathaniel Clyne, in the Summer.
The right-back has had yet another superb season for The Saints and has caught the eye of United boss, Louis Van Gaal, who is expected to have a busy Summer in the transfer market once again, with the board already promising him big funds.
Clyne is just one defender on United’s radar and according to reports, they are confident they will be able to lure him away from St Marys in a deal worth around £15million, which is half what they spent on Luke Shaw the previous Summer.
At the end of this season, Clyne enters the final year on his contract so Southampton will have a decision of either risk losing him on a free in 2016, or cash in on him now.
