The Morata saga continues…
According to reports around the media circuit today, Manchester United are keen on signing the Spaniard this summer. They are also reporting that Jose Mourinho has asked Jorge Mendes keep him informed of Real Madrid about United’s transfer desire.
Before he re-signed for Real Madrid, he was reported he might be headed to England with the Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United very interested in him.
Despite him joining Los Blancos, it is expected that he will leave right away. as Real Madrid only really signed him so they can flip him for a profit. Plus, they cannot offer him regular first team football anyhow.
United have agreed to fork out 55 million Euros for Morata, However, the La Liga giants are now demanding for a fee close to around 70 million Euros for him.
Earlier this year there were a lot of reports coming out that Morata is keen to play for Mourinho and it will be very interesting to see if the clubs can come to some agreement.
United already have the likes of Martial, Rooney and Ibrahimovic. If they bring in Morata, Rashford could be loaned out in order to get some first team football.
