Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini has ruled out the possibility of goalkeeper Joe Hart leaving the club on loan in January.
It was reported earlier that the Chilean boss was interested in signing Stoke City shot-stopper Asmir Begovic in the new year and could even send Hart the other way so that he is playing regular first-team football for the rest of the season.
However, in today’s press conference ahead of their Champions League game tomorrow, Pellegrini has ruled out a possible move.
“There is a lot of news about six or seven goalkeepers that we want to buy but it is not true,” said Pellegrini.
“There is no chance that Joe Hart could go out of this squad in January.”
