Marc Wilmots ‘didn’t advise’ Hazard on PSG move

Kristof Terreur, a highly renowned source of football information in Belgium has labelled the speculation of Marc Wilmots advising Eden Hazard to join French giants PSG ‘rubbish’.

Reports yesterday stated that Wilmots had to told a French TV station that a move to the parisien side would be beneficial for the Belgian.

Wilmots allegedly said: “It’s an opportunity to be taken into serious consideration if he wants to be part of the category of players who make the difference.

“It’s time to raise his level. Hazard and Ibrahimovic are two different players – but highly complementary.”

But Terreur has said that these rumors are not to be believed as he posted on Twitter: “The ‘Wilmots urges Eden Hazard to join PSG’- rubbish is still popping up. He didn’t advise it at all. Check Canal+ before you copy. @Squawka”

“Wilmots has not said. That’s just it. Quotes pulled completely out of context.”

There have been many rumours surrounding Hazard’s future as the big spenders of Ligue 1 are known to be interested, and Oscar is also on their radar.

Despite this, the Blues are very unlikely to sell the two midfieldes as they are vital to Mourinho’s side and they would be foolish to lose another star after Juan mata was sold to Manchester United in January.
