Striker doesn’t want to return to Liverpool

Mario Balotelli has admitted he wants to stay at AC Milan this summer and will do everything he can to persuade the club to sign him permanently.

The Italian is currently on a season-long loan at the San Siro after Liverpool agreed to send him back to his former-club. The Reds spent ÂŁ16million on Balotelli two seasons ago, but after netting just one Premier League goal in that campaign, he was then shipped back out to Milan.

Despite being back in his homeland, Balotelli has still suffered this season, scoring just three goals since leaving Anfield and also suffering from numerous injuries throughout the year.

The 25-year-old is facing an uncertain future, with Milan not 100% certain to sign him permanently and with Jurgen Klopp not interested in having him back at Liverpool.

Balotelli Eyes Stay

Speaking about his own future, Balotelli admitted that he must do everything he can in the final eight games to persuade the Serie A side to sign him permanently.

“In the last eight games I’ll give it my all to convince Milan to buy me and to earn a spot at Euro 2016,” Balotelli is quoted as saying in Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

It’s also claimed Balotelli has held talks with Milan’s joint-CEO Adriano Galliani, and he has informed him that he wishes to stay at the club.
