Argentine targeted by several Premier League clubs
Inter Milan have moved swiftly to issue a hands off warning for their in-form striker, Mauro Icardi, according to Talk Sport.
The 21-year-old has impressed for the Serie A side this season, having netted 15 times this season.
And his form has attracted interest from English eyes, with Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City all keen on the player.
Inter’s Sporting director, Piero Ausilio, has moved to state that Icardi is not for sale.
“Mauro is a very calm, level-headed lad who’s completely devoted to his family. He works tirelessly during the week and scores goals on a Sunday,” Ausilio told Sportitalia.
“We’ve met with his agent a couple of times, but let’s not forget that his contract doesn’t expire for a good while.
“Of course, we want to keep hold of Mauro – and he chose to come here because he felt that Inter were the ideal team for him.”
