Arsenal set to offer star new contract
Arsenal Football Club are ready to offer Mesut Ozil a new contract at the club after his stunning form in recent weeks.
The German play-maker is in unbelievable form for the Gunners, demonstrating just why they spent £42million on him in 2013, and the club are ready to reward him with a new deal.
After a couple of seasons being questioned about his form and his price-tag, Ozil is finally showing people what he can really do, and after assisting in his last six games, he’s broken a Premier League record and looks on the way to breaking Thierry Henry‘s season-record.
New Contract
According to reports, Arsenal officials are ready to tie Ozil down on a long-term deal, despite the German still having two-and-a-half years left on his current contract.
Arsenal want to offer Ozil a contract which runs until 2019, meaning he still spend his peak days in North London.
