Jeremy Menez has no desire to leave AC Milan in the summer, his agent says.

Liverpool are said to be interested in bringing Menez to the club in the summer.

The forward has been in impressive form whilst netting 16 times this season and has since caught the eye of several top clubs in Europe.

Reds manager Brendan Rogers has had any hope he had of making the signing dashed by his agent, who is also his brother.

Kevin Menez spoke about the future of his brother in a recent interview, and was sure that he was happy to stay at the San Siro for the moment.

Agent Rules Out Move

“At the moment, we’re happy with Jeremy at the club. The club hasn’t told us anything, so there’s no reason to leave.”

“Of course, we know that in modern football every player is for sale, but we haven’t been contacted by anyone, and Jeremy feels good at Milan, where he’s had the best season of his career.”

“Liverpool and Monaco? These are just rumours, there are rumours around every player.”

“A player who has scored 16 goals will be sought-after, but at the moment there’s nothing concrete.”
