Moyes has eye on young Bundesliga winger

It has emerged that David Moyes is reportedly interested in young winger Patrick Hermann as a replacement target for Marco Reus. And the Scot is reportedly planning a trip to Germany to watch the youngster in action for his side Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday.

Moyes is able to make this trip as United were knocked out of the FA Cup by Swansea in the last round and therefore have no fixtures this weekend.

There is increasing pressure on Moyes to build his squad following his side’s 3-1 loss at Chelsea last Sunday despite a number of players already being targeted, players such as Ilkay Gundogan, Koke, Juan Mata and Marco Reus. And if Reus in particular chooses not to sign for the Red Devils, then Harmann acts as a young, talented replacement.

The 22 year old has already represented Germany at every level except senior, and would act as a suitable replacement given his fantastic season so far.

Germany sin’t the only place Moyes will have visited as he has also been seen at Sampdoria to watch Juventus win 4-1 and he has also been seen at the Parc des Princes to watch PSG beat Bordeaux 3-1.
