As per Sky Sports in Germany, the Bundesliga giants have made contact with Trippier and have reached a verbal agreement with the player for him to move to Bayern.
Sky Sports reports that the Magpies have rebuffed the approach as they have no desire to lose the 33-year-old defender.
Trippier joined Newcastle from Atletico Madrid for around £12m in the winter window of 2022. He managed to contribute 18 assists in 81 appearances across all competitions.
