Ole Gunnar Solskjaer To be Handed £50m For The January Transfer Window

Manchester United interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be given a modest transfer kitty to be spent in the January transfer window.

Former manager Jose Mourinho didn’t have much luck in the summer transfer window as United chief executive Ed Woodward failed to bring some of his desired players. But he doesn’t want to repeat his mistakes and funds will be available for the new manager.

Solskjaer would like to address few things with defence being the primary issue. The Red Devils have been pretty awful defensively and the 45 year old needs to do work in stabilising the backline.

A number of defenders with the likes of Kalidou Koulibaly and Toby Alderweireld  are on the radar and it remains to be seen who gets the nod of the interim boss.

A right sided attacker also seems to be the priority as Mourinho had to use Juan Mata, Marcus Rashford and Jesse Lingard on the right side of the attack.

Woodward is likely to sanction a £50m transfer budget and a number of players could be seen at the Old Trafford while a number of faces could also leave the club.
