Djilobodji’s agent says the Senegalese will ‘fight to play’ for the Champions.

The 27-year-old has only played a minute’s worth of football for the West London club since joining from Nantes in the summer.

The defender’s only appearance occurred during The Blues’ 4-1 Capital One Cup victory over Walsall in September.

But his agent, Mouhamed Gueye, has insisted that his client will do everything he can to feature more for Jose Mourinho’s side during the festive period.

Gueye said: “Papy will fight to play. He has a lot to offer.”

Djilobodji has been linked to Lazio as of recent, but Gueye has rubbished any claims that they’ll be any move from England to Italy for the ex-Nantes man.

Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, he said: “I do not know anything about a possible transfer of Papy to Lazio in January.

“From Rome right now I have not received any demonstration of interest to my client, let alone a phone call.”
