Paris Saint-Germain ‘plot £35m move’ for Liverpool’s Luis Suarez

Newspaper Marca is today reporting PSG’s interest in the striker and believe the big-spending French outfit are targeting a summer move for Suarez.

But their supposed valuation of the Uruguayan is unlikely to see Liverpool sell, after the Reds rejected a £40m offer from Arsenal in the last transfer window.

And with Suarez’s stunning form in the first half of the campaign, as well as his new contract with the club, his value is only going to have increased.

But PSG remain hopeful they can turn Suarez’s head with a lucrative salary package and the lure of Champions League football, especially if Liverpool fall short of a top four finish this term.

The French side may also be hoping Suarez’s international team-mate Edinson Cavani can talk-up a move to Paris when they link up at this summer’s World Cup.

Marca is also reporting the possibility PSG will offer Javier Pastore, Ezequiel Lavezzi or Jeremy Menez as part of the deal, but unless they significantly increase their valuation, it’s highly unlikely Reds boss Brendan Rodgers will be tempted.
