Ligue 1 champions to offer Laurent Blanc contract extension
Jose Mourinho looks set to miss out on the Paris Saint-Germain top-job with officials at the club ready to offer Laurent Blanc a new long-term contract.
The PSG job has been just one potential role mentioned for Mourinho following his dismissal from Chelsea, but it looks like the Ligue 1 champions are happy with Blanc.
Mourinho has been linked with the AS Monaco, AS Roma, Manchester United and Real Madrid job, as well as the PSG one, but it looks like the latter won’t be an option.
Blanc Offered New Deal
Officials at PSG are desperate to open contract talks with Blanc and are ready to offer him a new deal, ending all speculation about Mourinho possibly taking over.
Blanc took over at PSG back in 2013, winning the the league title in his debut season.
