Patrick Vieira Infuriated By Balotelli’s Behaviour

Patrick Vieira has clearly run out of patience with Mario Balotelli as he was quoted saying – “When it comes to Mario, I want to answer back, or just slam him up against the wall or leave him hanging by his collar on the coat rack, but I can’t, as I’m no longer a player.”

Incidentally, Balotelli had stormed out of the dressing room after being substituted in OGC Nice’s game against Nimes. The Italian forward also trashed the place and refused to clean up afterwards as reported by French publication, Le Journal du Dimanche.

The Italian forward also reportedly walked out while Viera was addressing the entire team against Guingamp.

The Nice manager is known to be a dignified figure since his playing days. Vieira is considered as an Arsenal legend and was a part of the ‘invincible’ squad. He took over as manager of the Ligue 1 six months back and has already faced issues with the temperamental striker.

Viera further added, “I have to think twice before I say anything because it can have an impact and I risk losing a great player. I don’t want to say something I’ll regret. I am trying to be constructive in my comments to him.”

Balotelli is known to be problematic with higher authority and has caused problems throughout his playing career.
