Gerard Pique will make a decision regarding his future over the next fortnight, with Manchester United and Chelsea eagerly awaiting his decision.
The Spaniard has been benched for the past few games at the Nou Camp and is reportedly frustrated at the club with new manager, Luis Enrique, but with an international break coming up, the Barca man will take some time away from the club and decide his next step.
Both United and Chelsea are keen on signing the centre-back, with both plotting January bids if he does decide to move on, but it’s believed that the 27-year-old would prefer a switch to Chelsea rather than his old-club.
Pique was a youth member at Old Trafford before he returned to his boyhood club of Barca, and due to his previous United days, it’s suggested he’d rather a new start at Stamford Bridge instead.
According to reports, both Premier League clubs are prepared to part ways with £24million in order to land the Spanish international.
