Paul Pogba has been named the Player of the Month for his brilliant display since the departure of Jose Mourinho.
The Frenchman was in mercurial form in the last month as he scored four goals in the Premier League and led his team to victories over all the four teams they faced in December.
The revival of Paul Pogba at Manchester United was rewarded by the club as the Frenchman received the Player of the Month award for his mercurial display in December 2018. The player was in absolutely blistering form as he scored four goals to lead his side past all the four oppositions they faced in the Premier League. The French superstar had found it hard for the results to come by under the tutelage of former manager Jose Mourinho but it seems like he has hit the purple patch since the arrival of the new manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and has found a renewed form.
The player scored a brace in each of the matches against Bournemouth and Crystal Palace along with a stunning goal from at least 25 yards out. His physical presence in the middle of the pitch and the flamboyance in his passing and movement have started to show once again as he is finally looking like the player for whom the Red Devils had paid a world record transfer fee to Juventus.
Speaking about the player’s injury due to the knock that he picked up in the match against Newcastle United, Solskjaer said, “Paul has had his knock and has had a few days of treatment back home. Hopefully, we can get Paul on his feet during this week.”
