Morgan Schneiderlin will reject a new contract at Southampton to try and push through a move to Arsenal in summer. The Saints are willing to offer him wages of £60,000 a week to stay on at St Marys but he looks likely to reject this new offer.
Arsenal are reportedly still interested in his services and could launch a £25m bid in the summer transfer window. They would also be able to pay him much more than what Southampton are offering and they could also have the lure of Champions League football if they manage to finish in the top four.
The player himself is believed to have his heart set on a move to the Emirates stadium and Southampton may end up having to sell the Frenchman on at the end of the season.
