In the biggest match of the weekend, David De Gea produced a stunning display as Man United defeated Spurs 1-0 at Wembley. Marcus Rashford scored the winner in the first half on a day that De Gea made 11 saves.

EPL team of the week 22: Goalkeeper David De Gea

Manchester United goalkeeper made 11 saves in the win against Tottenham on Sunday. He has only made more saves against Arsenal 14. The Spaniard was undoubtedly the man of the match of the super Sunday fixture making 11 saves and keeping a clean sheet for the Red Devils.

RB: Jan Bednarek (Southampton).

Bednarek was in great form in Southamptns win against Leicester, 10 man Southampton keep their reseilance in their 2-1 win over Leicester City. The Southampton defender made an amazing goal line clearance which won the game for Rulf Hussenhutle’s team.

CB: David Luiz (Chelsea).

As well as providing a fantastic no look assist for Pedro’s opener for Chelsea, David Luiz made six clearances, two tackles and two interceptions in the Blues’ 2-1 victory over Newcastle.

CB: Fabinho (Liverpool).

Despite his side loosing 1-0 to Manchester United, Harry Winks was the king of the midfield at Wembely. He dominated the midfield despite playing with full seasoned midfielders like Nemanja Matic, Paul Pogba and Ander Herrera.

MF: Declan Rice (West Ham United).

Declan Rice scored the only goal in West Ham United’s 1-0 win over their London rivals Arsenal on Saturday, making him the 10th Wst Ham United teenager to score a goal for the Hammers and the first since Junior Stanislas in November 2009.

MF: Pedro (Chelsea).

Pedro Rodriguez was in great form when Chelsea met Newcastle United at Stamford Bridge on Saturday scoring a goal from a well assisted no look pass from David Luiz to make it 3 goals in 2 Premier League starts against Newcastle United, the most against any other side now level against Bournemouth (3)

FW: Marcus Rashford (Man United).

For the first time in his career Marcus Rashford has scored in three consecutive games in the Premier League. The English forward scored the only goal in last weekends Super Sunday fixture helping Manchester United draw level on points with fifth place Arsenal.

FW: Andre Schurrle (Fulham).

Fulham new signing Andre Schurrle scored the opening goal in Fulham’s win last weekend against Burnley (01:49) making him the first player Fulham player to score the fastest goal in the Premier League since Clint Dempsey against Norwich in 2012 (01:46)

FW: Gabriel Jesus (Manchester City)

Gabriel Jesus scored a brace for Manchester City in the game against Wolves, the Brazilian first half brace made sure that Manchester City had secured all three points to cut down on the gap between them and the log leaders Liverpool.
