Chelsea overtake United in no.1 spot
Premier League fans have voted for their most hated team in the league.
Over the recent years, Manchester United have always taken the no.1 spot, but this year there’s been a change at the top.
It’s Chelsea who are now the most hated team in the Premier League according to a new vote.
The results weighted the opinions of each club equally, making the overall table a fair representation of the view of the average football fan.
Bournemouth came bottom of the list, making them the division’s least hated club.
Leicester were second – proving that success alone isn’t enough to make rival fans hate your side.
Watford, Southampton and Burnley came next.
Chelsea are most hated by Tottenham fans, though Arsenal supporters aren’t too far behind. It’s a sentiment that seems to go both ways though with Chelsea fans hating Arsenal the most, closely followed by Tottenham and then Manchester United.
Manchester United fans hate Manchester City the most and then Liverpool. United are also the most hated club of both Liverpool and City.
