Paris Saint Germain’s midfielder Adrien Rabiot is set to complete a loan deal to Tottenham Hotspur for the remainder of the season.
The French youth international featured 25 times for the Ligue 1 outfit last season, but has not seemed to fit into manager Laurent Blanc’s plans this season. Due to his lack of appearances, the 19 year-old is set to be loaned out to the Premier League outfit for the rest of the 2014-15 season.
Mauricio Pochettino has fielded youngster Nabil Bentaleb and Ryan Mason, who is relatively new to the first team picture, this season in the centre of midfield and so could do with cover in the position. A loan deal for Rabiot could also include the option of a permanent switch and so obviously the Argentine holds the PSG midfielder in high regard.
But, the Ligue 1 champions may be reluctant to sell the midfielder come the end of the loan in case Blanc departs the French outfit before the conclusion of his loan.
