Real Madrid have no intentions to hire Jose Mourinho at this moment, according to reports.

Mourinho lost his Manchester United job following the 3-1 defeat to Liverpool in the Premier League. The famous third season syndrome once again came back to haunt the Portuguese who was axed following an awful start to this season.

The former Chelsea and Porto manager won’t be short offers and has been linked with a number of jobs including a return to his old hunting ground Santiago Bernabeu.

Mourinho managed the club from 2010 to 2013 and would have been a good option if the club wants to replace Santiago Solari. But Los Blancos hierarchy is likely to pin their hope on the current manager and will give him a chance to steady the boat.v

Madrid have had a tumultuous season and are currently placed in a distant third with 29 points in the La Liga. In the Champions League also they have been handed an easy draw as Sergio Ramos’ side need to get the better of Ajax to get into the quarter final of this esteemed competition.

Mourinho’s recent past and his relationship with players hasn’t gone down well with some of the factions and that might be the reason Madrid don’t see him as a possible candidate to manage their club.
