Real Madrid are preparing a £73 million bid for Liverpool striker Luis Suarez. Suarez is at the top of Real Madrid’s transfer target shortlist and president Florentino Perez has expressed his desperation to bring the Uruguayan to the Bernabeu.
Real Madrid hope to replicate the manner of Gareth Bale’s transfer and are willing to be patient on signing the striker.
According to some reports, Real Madrid are set to offer worth up to £73 million in the coming days. Liverpool don’t want to sell the 27-year-old but are willing to negotiate a deal with the right fee. It is understood that Real Madrid are the only club that Suarez will consider quitting for but if the deal were to happen, it’s more likely it’ll take place in the later stage of the transfer window.
