QPR striker Loic Remy is desperate for Arsenal to make him their first summer signing, with Liverpool still holding firm interest in the player.
The Frenchman has a £10 million buy-out clause in his contract and has now given hope to Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger that they can seal a deal very soon.
Talks about a possible move are understood to be happening very soon as Wenger wants the majority of his signing to happen before the World Cup.
However, it could be a race against time, as Liverpool are understood to be ‘very keen’ on the services of Remy despite recently signing Rickie Lambert from Southampton.
Along with Remy, Serge Aurier, David Marshall and John Ruddy are being closely watched by Wenger as he hopes some deals can be struck soon.
