According to reports, Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is ready to turn down the £200,000-a-week deal
The Evening Standard are reporting that Romelu Lukaku is prepared to turn down the £200,000-a-week deal offered to him by Manchester United and accept a lower wage to return to Chelsea this summer.
Lukaku has been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge for a while now and reports are now saying he is that keen to make to Chelsea happen he’s willing to take a pay cut.
United were apparently ready to offer him £200,000-a-week wages, but the attacker is ready to reject that offer despite the fact that he could be earning closer to £150,000-a-week with Chelsea.
Everton are said to be demanding £100m for Lukaku – who scored 25 Premier League goals this season giving him a total of 85 over the last five campaigns, however, Chelsea are hopeful they can do a deal for nearer £80m.
