Everton striker, Romelu Lukaku, is ready to quit The Toffees in order to secure a move to a ‘big club’.
The Belgium secured a permanent move to Goodison Park over the Summer after spending the season on loan there last year, but after just half a season back in Merseyside, he’s now considering leaving the club.
Everton broke their transfer record to sign Lukaku, paying Chelsea £28million for the 21-year-old, but after a struggling season for Roberto Martinez’s side, Lukaku is ready to quit already.
Lukaku made a return to Chelsea midweek with Everton, and after the game, he admitted that it’s no secret that he wants a move to a big club eventually.
‘It was brilliant to play at Chelsea and I had a good reception,’ Lukaku told The Sun.
‘They know I’m a good player but that I want to develop so I can eventually get back to playing for a club like Chelsea.
‘I don’t have a secret ambition to rejoin – there are other clubs in the world. I just want to grow as a player and eventually arrive at a top club again.’
