Manchester City star won’t be back for derby this month
Sergio Aguero has confirmed he won’t rush himself back from the latest injury blow, meaning he will miss this month’s Manchester Derby.
Aguero was stretchered off during the international break with a hamstring problem, and it’s initially been stated that he will be out for around four weeks.
However, the striker has admitted he won’t rush himself back and will be cautious with his return, meaning it could be a longer spell on the sidelines than first feared.
Manchester City take on rivals United at the end of this month, and it’s a game that Aguero will certainly miss.
Aguero Confirms Blow
“I have to recover without rushing,” he said.
“I hope to be back soon but I have to be fully recovered before getting back the pitch because I don’t want to get injured again.
“I always think about recovering quickly, but I don’t know whether I will be able to play against Brazil in November or not.”
