Miroslav Klose was interested in moving to Arsenal and wanted to increase his chances in making the Squad for germany in the World Cup. Klose was upset with his club when they rejected a season long loan move for him from the Premier League side. Arsene Wenger offered a huge 2 million euro loan move for the German on the transfer deadline day.
Even after the striker had expressed his feelings of moving to the Gunners the Italian side still said no. The 35 year old was so serious about this move to Arsenal he was talking to Per Mertesacker, Mesut Ozil & Lukas Podolski to increase his chances.
